(Candace) was born in Kentucky and grew up in a small Eastern Kentucky town. After finishing high school in Lexington, she attended Transylvania University before graduating from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, with a degree in Economics — go figure.
After a stint in New York City, she returned to Kentucky and built a life around family, books, and storytelling. Today she lives on the Kentucky side of Cincinnati, balancing family, work, writing, and an ever-growing collection of stories waiting to be told.
Candace writes romance, mystery, and stories with a little magic and a lot of heart. Her books range from funny paranormal adventures to emotional love stories and Snack-Sized Romances designed for readers who want a complete escape in a shorter read.
And because apparently writing novels wasn't enough, she also creates planners, calendars, and other books just begging to be filled with big ideas, little lists, and grand plans. She's convinced there's something magical about a fresh planner and the possibility of finally getting her life organized. This could be the year. Really.
When she isn't writing, she can usually be found reading, cooking, wandering through antique shops and small towns, experimenting with tarot and meditation, or hanging out with her Goldendoodle.
